User Agreement
Important Notice: This User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as “this Agreement”) is an agreement between you (an individual, company, or any other entity) and the use of this product (as defined in Article 1, Section (i) of this Agreement). You must reach the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to access and sign this Agreement. If you are not of legal age, your guardian must consent to or sign this Agreement. Please read this Agreement carefully before using your Creality product. Your use of Creality products will be considered as your acceptance of the terms and conditions described in this Agreement. If you do not agree with this Agreement, please do not use any Creality products. Under the product return policy, you may return the Creality product to the store, authorized distributor, or retail shop where you purchased the device to request a refund. However, please note that if you request a refund from a retail shop, you may also need to comply with that shop’s return requirements. The product return policy follows the relevant laws and regulations of the country/region where the purchase was made.
1. General Provisions
(i) The products referred to in this Agreement are:
Devices and the software contained therein, where the software includes, but is not limited to, code and other embedded software, documentation, interfaces, content, fonts, and any data protected by Creality or its licensors' copyrights stored on the device;
Updates or upgrades to the products described in Section 1 of this article.
(ii) Unless otherwise specified, the software included in this Agreement is subject to the terms of this Agreement, whether it is stored on read-only memory, any other medium, or in other forms, or obtained from authorized online download locations.
2. End User Software License
Subject to compliance with this Agreement, you have the right to use the software (as defined in Article 1, Section (i), Item 1) in a limited, non-exclusive manner on a single device or computer and may not sell, transfer, or use it for any other commercial purpose.
3. Your Obligations
By using this product and agreeing to these terms, you warrant that:
(i) You will not use Creality’s technology or intellectual property to develop software, or design, develop, manufacture, sell third-party devices/accessories associated with Creality products, or grant licenses without prior permission from Creality.
(ii) You may make one copy of the software and store it on a computer hard drive or other storage medium for archival purposes only. You may not distribute or make the software available over a network such that it can be used by multiple devices or computers simultaneously.
(iii) Without Creality’s prior written consent, you may not sell, rent, lease, lend, sublicense, or distribute the software, in whole or in part, to third parties. However, you may transfer the entire license of the software to another party as a one-time permanent transfer, provided that:
The transfer includes your Creality product and all software contained therein;
You do not retain any copies of the software, in whole or in part;
The recipient of the Creality product has read and agreed to the terms of this Agreement.
(iv) Unless expressly permitted, you will not, and will not allow others to, engage in any misuse, intrusion, or other improper use of the product, including modifying, decoding, copying, dismantling, publishing, publicly disseminating, reverse engineering, decompiling, exporting code, disassembling, or creating derivative works of the software.
(v) Furthermore, you agree not to use the product and related updates to:
Copy or use any part of the product outside the scope authorized by this Agreement;
Provide to third parties, or allow third parties to use the whole or part of the software (including but not limited to applications, services, code, and source code under this service) without Creality’s written permission;
Use the product in a deceptive manner or for deceptive purposes;
Remove any copyright notices or acknowledgments contained within the product;
Attempt to disrupt, bypass, alter, invalidate, or evade any digital rights management system related to or part of the product;
Engage in other improper or illegal activities.
(vi) When using the product for storage or copying, you must obtain authorization from the relevant rights holders in specific countries or regions. The material copying function provided by Creality products is limited to copying materials that are not protected by copyright, materials you own the copyright to, or materials for which you have been authorized or legally permitted to copy. You understand that any materials displayed, stored, or accessed by your device are owned by the rights holders of those materials. Such materials may be protected by copyright law or other intellectual property laws and treaties, and may require compliance with third-party usage agreements or licenses. Unless otherwise agreed, this Agreement does not grant you any rights to use such materials, nor does it guarantee that you can continue to use such materials.
(vii) If you choose to provide feedback related to the product (“Feedback”), you hereby grant Creality an unrestricted, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, fully paid-up, royalty-free, and non-notification right to use such Feedback in any manner and for any purpose, including improving the product and creating other products and services.
(VIII) You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country or region where the product is installed or used, including but not limited to the local laws of the country or region where you reside or where you download or use this product and services.
4. Rights Reserved
Creality and its licensors hold and reserve all intellectual property rights and other rights and qualifications related to the product’s visual interface, graphics, design, firmware, software, services, and all other elements, and reserve any rights not expressly granted to you by this Agreement.
5. Usage Data
(i) If you choose to help Creality improve its products and services, Creality and its affiliates/licensors may collect data from your device for analysis. The collected data includes your device configuration data, application statistics, and error log data. All data will be anonymized before collection and processing.
(ii) Creality ensures that your data is protected with a level of protection that is approximate and adequate under all applicable laws and regulations. When using the device, data collected from your product device may be processed or transferred to Creality and its affiliates/licensors located outside the country/region where you reside. This means that such data may be transferred to jurisdictions other than the country/region where you use Creality products or services or accessed from those jurisdictions. These jurisdictions may have different data protection laws or no such laws.
(iii) Creality retains your data only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes specified in this Agreement and the privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Creality will take all appropriate technical and organizational steps to prevent unauthorized access to or disclosure of your data, but it is important to note that no security measures are completely foolproof.
7. Product Updates
(i) To provide you with a better user experience, Creality may offer product update services, including but not limited to system software updates. These updates are designed to improve the performance, security, and reliability of the product or device. Product updates may be delivered in various installation methods and include fixes, system software updates, model content updates, and performance enhancements.
(ii) Replacement or supplementary product updates provided by Creality are subject to this Agreement unless such updates are accompanied by a separate usage agreement, in which case the latter will govern. If you choose not to download updates provided by Creality, you understand and acknowledge that you may expose the product to serious security risks, which may result in the product being unusable or unstable. Some product features may be restricted by software version, and updating to the latest software version may enhance your user experience.
(iii) Your Creality product will automatically search for and download update packages over the network to provide timely updates. These updates will help you fix network security vulnerabilities and guard against new security threats. You understand the necessity of receiving and installing system security update patches promptly. Due to the importance of such updates, your product may automatically install certain downloaded updates and issue update notifications to keep you informed. We strongly recommend keeping your product's default configuration to avoid issues caused by failure to update in a timely manner. If you need to disable automatic updates, you can turn off the "Automatic Update" feature in the "Firmware Upgrade" module.
8. Product Services
(i) This product allows you to access related Creality and third-party applications and services (collectively and individually referred to as “Services”) that come with the product. However, some services may have regional attributes, so they may not be available in all languages or regions. Certain features may vary by region, be restricted, or may not be provided by your service provider. Additionally, you understand and agree that some features of the product may also be affected by hardware and data access limitations and may not be available on all products.
(ii) To ensure and enhance your user experience, the product provides you with system services. The specific content of each service under the product is provided by Creality and its affiliates/licensors based on actual circumstances. Creality and its affiliates/licensors may change the services they provide, and the content of the services may change at any time.
9. Third-Party Software Statement
You clearly understand and agree that Creality products support the execution of generic G-code files, but do not guarantee the availability of G-code generated by third-party software at any time. Creality will not be responsible for any product damage caused by running G-code generated by third-party software on Creality devices.
10. Termination and Continuing Validity
(i) This Agreement takes effect on the first day you install the software. If you fail to comply with any provision or condition of this Agreement, your account may be deactivated, and the product may be restricted or suspended. After your account is deactivated, you must immediately stop using the product and delete all copies and/or software and related materials installed on your device or computer.
(ii) After termination of this Agreement, Sections 6, 11, and 12 shall remain in effect.
11. Disclaimer
(i) You acknowledge that the product is provided "as is" and without any form of express or implied warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Creality, its licensors/affiliates, or copyright holders make no express or implied representations or warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, confidentiality, and non-infringement of third-party rights. Creality or any other party does not warrant that the functions contained in the product will meet your requirements or that the product will operate without interruption or errors. You assume all responsibility and risk for selecting this product to achieve your intended results, and for installing, using the product, and obtaining results.
(ii) You further acknowledge that during the operation of the device, you must not insert body parts or objects into the device to avoid potential risks of burns or injuries. All responsibility and risk for any personal injury or device damage caused by such actions are borne by you.
12. Limitation of Liability
(i) Creality is not liable for any issues with product use caused by misuse, incorrect use, or unauthorized modifications.
(ii) To the extent not prohibited by applicable law, Creality and its employees, licensors, or affiliates are not liable for any loss of profits, revenue, sales, data loss, costs of procuring substitute goods or services, property damage, personal injury, business interruption, loss of business information, or any special, direct, indirect, incidental, economic, punitive, consequential, or subordinate damages, regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise), even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability for personal injury or incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.
(iii) The total liability of Creality for all losses (except for liability for personal injury due to Creality's negligence, as required by applicable law) shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Creality product.
(iv) Laws in some countries or regions may not allow for the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties, guarantees, or liabilities. If such laws apply to you, some or all of the exclusions or limitations described in this Agreement may not apply to you, and you may have additional rights. Nothing in this Agreement affects your statutory rights as a consumer, or any rights that cannot be altered or waived by contract.
13. Export Control
You may not use or otherwise export or re-export Creality products without authorization from applicable laws and relevant legal authorities in the jurisdiction where the Creality product is located.

16. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
The validation, interpretation, modification, performance, and dispute resolution of this Agreement are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes related to the content or performance of this Agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, both Creality and you may submit the dispute to the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) for arbitration, in accordance with CIETAC’s arbitration rules in effect at the time of application.
17. Entire Agreement
This Agreement and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Creality regarding the use of your product. When you use or purchase open-source software, third-party content, or other services from Creality, you may also be subject to other applicable agreements and conditions.
